This is a demonstration website developed by the Winton Centre for Risk & Evidence Communication at the University of Cambridge as part of the RISE programme. The code is freely available for use at: https://github.com/WintonCentre/rise-dashboard

It pulls together some of the best practice guidelines for communicating Operational Earthquake Forecasts developed during the project through interviews and focus groups with over 100 people in Italy, Iceland, and Switzerland (including seismologists, journalists, infrastructure managers, civil protection and members of the general public), along with large-scale online surveys in Italy, Switzerland, and California.

The earthquakes chosen to give examples of different magnitudes, and the cities chosen to give examples of different hazard levels, were chosen for testing in Italy and should be replaced.

The geographical navigation and data and the links/wording for further information are, of course, for demonstration purposes only.

Please start by choosing a language and a country, then a region and a community, to see the demonstration.
